Cadence is committed to keeping design teams highly productive. A range of support offerings and processes helps Cadence users focus on reducing time-to-market and achieving silicon success. Overview
- Provides modeling accuracy, high performance, and remote access
- Improves verification productivity
- Reduces system emulation bring-up risk
The Cadence? Emulation Development Kit (EDK) is a pre-configured solution for Palladium? platform users to validate their firmware, software, and system in a pre-silicon emulation environment with modeling accuracy, high performance, and remote access. Using the kit, you can quickly deploy a high-performance system-level validation platform and also co-verify hardware and software with applications running on an industry-standard operating system (OS) using the standard software stack. The kit can dramatically improve your verification productivity.
The EDK provides a fully secure cloud-computing setup with remote accessibility. Teams distributed across different geographical locations can easily access and complete their system verification tasks through a Palladium verification platform hosted at a datacenter location.
Since the kit is pre-configured for protocol-specific interfaces, device software engineers can easily develop and validate application software and device drivers for standard operating systems over device hardware interfaces including PCI Express? and USB.
Cadence EDKs and SpeedBridge interfaces are also compatible with the Protium S1 FPGA-Based Prototyping Platform to enable software development, system validation, and hardware regressions.
